bird and brother: Snapshots from the road

THE NEW NORMAL

After several years comfortably ensconced in the inner suburbs of an east coast metropolis, we somehow landed in this remote tropical corner of the continent. And had a baby. She thinks that dirt is red, the earth is flat, the sky is always blue, and green grass is on the endangered species list. We've tried to leave a couple of times now, but it seems that we're stuck. So for now we'll crank up the fans a little higher, slip deeper into our tropical torpor, keep one eye out for crocodiles and try to keep you all well informed of our doings.
